    Course/Program description

    * University buildings include 70 classrooms and 15 amphitheaters, surrounded by a 240 acres of green criss-crossed by small roads. It is a patchwork of woods, hills, a lake, stretches of river, benches and lawns.

*There are 1400 bedrooms, 50 apartments, a cafeteria, a language center, a day-care center, a printing shop, an infirmary and an ecumenical chapel.

The existing MBA residence was totally renewed last summer. In addition, the construction of an additional brand new building with over 80 spacious apartments started in the summer of 1998. This building is located on Campus and is reserved to MBA students only. The residence will include meeting rooms, a relaxation lounge with all types of entertainment materials (Big screen TV, VCR, Billiard, Bar, Party Area....) and a reserved parking area.

*Sporting facilities (on campus) both indoor and outdoor are shared by 2000 students (including other programs offered at HEC) and include a soccer stadium, a basketball court, a 2000 square-meter gymnasium, a nine-hole golf course, a martial arts center, tennis courts and a climbing wall, to name a few. Thanks to our sporting facilities, each year, the best known European inter-MBA tournament takes place on the HEC campus. This event brings together the best sportsmen and women from Europe’s leading business schools for a three-day event.

    * A 3-star Hotel just opened its doors and is located right at the entrance of the Campus. The Hotel, open to Public is also used for the HEC Executive Programs. MBA Students have full access to all recreational facilities (e.g. swimming pool, restaurants, gymnasium, etc.).

    Library
With a total of 60,000 management books and 650 periodicals, the library welcomes some 550 users every day.

Library hours: Monday trough Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 70:30 PM.
Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 10 PM.
Saturday from 9-12 and 1:30 PM to 6 PM.

While some of the 620 newspapers (40% are non-French) are within reach, the main research tool remains the computer for consulting databases. In addition the computer access is possible at night from the students’ rooms, all of which are cabled. One of the library’s most impressive features is the diversity of its data banks. There are three types: internal, which contain data on documents in the general library (a whole floor) external, including the data bases of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and major international information providers, the many data banks on CD-ROM, Internet and Intranet.

    Computer facilities.
The campus is equipped with a large number of computer facilities. Permanent assistance is available for all computer rooms Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 22:30 PM, and from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays. A laptop is not required but most students have one.
