As an outstanding provider of English language courses to students from all around the world, Kaplan International Colleges announced that they would be a main sponsor of the Year of English project in 2013. The project involves a free daily English-learning e-mail course. The course is primarily aimed at assisting existing learners in reaching fluency in the English language.
Aaron Knight was inspired to create the Year of English following the success of the Code Year project which set out to help people who were keen to learn how to program. Aaron encourages learning English by providing lessons on a daily basis as a way of gaining proficiency in speaking, writing and reading. By signing up on the Year of English homepage, students will receive a daily English lesson, study tip or assignment including Kaplan English grammar exercises. Lessons will be based on a number of how to learn English posts from the Kaplan blog.
